Paul Dermine<\/strong><\/p>\n Paul Dermine (1989)\u00a0holds degrees in Law (2010,\u00a02012) and\u00a0Political Sciences (2012) from the Catholic University of Louvain\u00a0(Belgium), and a\u00a0postgraduate\u00a0degree in European Studies from the\u00a0College of Europe (2013,\u00a0Inbev-Baillet-Latour<\/em>\u00a0scholar).\u00a0Between 2013 and 2015, Paul has been combining a position as\u00a0Lecturer in Public Law at the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and a position as Junior Associate\u00a0at the Brussels Bar (Stibbe LLP).\u00a0Paul also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from New York University School of Law, where he served as\u00a0a Hauser Global Scholar during the academic year 2015-2016, while conducting research in EU law\u00a0under the supervision of Pr\u00a0Gr\u00e1inne de B\u00farca. In December 2016, he was admitted to the Brussels Bar.<\/p>\n Paul joined the Law Faculty in September 2016 as a PhD candidate. A member of Maastricht Center for European Law, he will carry out doctoral research on the new socio-economic governance of the European Union, under the supervision of Professors Monica Claes and Elise Muir.<\/p>\n
